Compare And Contrast Living At Home And In The Dormitory (final)

Sometimes when students study far away home, they have to live in the dormitory. I have been living in the dormitory since senior high school. There are so many differences between living at home and in the dormitory. I think the main differences are privacy, convenient and the family's company. The dormitory is a public place, so you do not have much privacy here. You have to share space with your roommates, so you have to keep your own place clean and organized every day. It is very difficult to live with a roommate who has bad habits. For example, I used to live with a person who smokes inside the house. It is always a bad small around the whole place. Living in the dormitory, you can not do anything you want just like you would do at home. Listening to music loudly or walking around naked is not allowed in the dormitory. Living at home is much more convenient than living in the dormitory. You have to wash your clothes every two or three days when you live in the dormitory. Sometime when I was too busy and I forgot to wash my clothes. I have to wear dirty clothes to school. Getting something to eat is another thing you have to care about when you live outside. The restaurant inside the school is cheap and delicious. But the food there is always the same. It will make you feel gross when you keep eating the same food. Students who never live outside might think that living in the dormitory have more freedom because their parents are not here. But I do not agree that. Sometimes when I were in trouble or got sick, I miss my family so much and I wish I can see them immediately. But it is impossible because my home is so far away from me. And it is always a lot of work to do when I try to go home on holidays. For me, living at home is much better than living in the dormitory. You have more privacy, conveniency, and the most important, you can see your family all the time.
